The Board of Directors of the Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences (PIASA) condemns the unprovoked Russian aggression against the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine. At the same time, it expresses its admiration for the inspired defense of Ukrainian democracy by its citizens, and by the Ukrainian political and military leadership. It calls upon the international community to hold the Russian government accountable for its violation of international norms and agreements, and to support by all means at its disposal the right of Ukrainians to determine their own fate.

Рада директорів Польського наукового інституту в Америці (PIASA) засуджує неспровоковану агресію Росії проти незалежності та суверенітету України. Водночас висловлюємо своє захоплення натхненним захистом демократії українськими громадянами та політичним і військовим керівництвом. Закликаємо міжнародне співтовариство притягнути до відповідальності російський уряд за порушення міжнародних норм і договорів та всіма наявними засобами підтримати право українців визначати свою долю.
