Anne Applebaum is a columnist for The Washington Post and Slate and a visiting professor of International History in 2012-13 at the London School of Economics. Her previous book, Gulag: a History, won the Pulitzer Prize for non-fiction in 2004. Anne is married to Radek Sikorski, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, and lives in London and Warsaw.
