Kazimierz Wierzynski(1894-1969) was a Polish poet and writer. Acquisition Note: Gift ca. 1970.

Abstract

The collection contains private and official correspondence of Kazimierz Wierzynski (from the time he lived in Sag Harbor, NY) with the Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences, Stanislaw Strzetelski, Jan Lechon, Stanislaw Stronski, Wladyslaw Zagorski, Tymon Terlecki, Canadian Polish Women’s Federation in Toronto, and publishers. His official correspondence contains orders of his publication “Poezje zebrane “. There are also press clippings with poems published in the Polish newspaper “WIADOMOSCI” in London. The collection includes photographs of the grave of Kazimierz Wierzynski in the Powazki Cemetery in Warsaw (1984).
